Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur will close the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2027 application correction window today, October 17, 2026, on the official website at xatonline.in. Candidates who have submitted the XAT 2027 application form can log in to the applicant dashboard and make permitted corrections before the window shuts.

The correction facility opened on October 16, 2026, and remains active for 48 hours. Registered candidates can revise academic marks, change the preferred test city, and replace an unclear photo or signature with a sharper image. No additional fee is charged for making these edits.

XLRI will open a second correction window in November 2026. That window will serve candidates who register for XAT 2027 after October 16, 2026. The last date to submit the XAT 2027 application form is December 6, 2026.

  • Preferred XAT 2027 test city
  • Uploaded photograph, if blurred or unclear
  • Uploaded signature, if unclear or incorrect

Core identity fields such as name, date of birth, and registered email cannot be changed through this window. Candidates must contact XLRI directly for errors in locked fields.

How to Edit the XAT 2027 Application Form?

  1. Visit the official website at xatonline.in.
  2. Click on the applicant login link on the homepage.
  3. Enter the registered XAT ID and password to sign in.
  4. Open the application dashboard and select the edit option.

XAT 2027 Exam Pattern

XAT 2027 will be held on January 3, 2027, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The computer-based test will carry 95 questions across four sections. There are no sectional time limits during the paper.

Section Questions
Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning 26
Decision Making 21
Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation 28
General Knowledge 20

Each correct answer carries one mark, and a wrong answer attracts a penalty of 0.25 marks. Candidates can skip up to eight questions without any penalty. Beyond that, 0.1 mark is deducted for every additional skipped question.

Why This Matters

XAT scores are accepted by more than 160 management institutes across India. A wrong test city or an unclear photo on the admit card can block entry on exam day. Today is the last chance to fix such errors for early applicants.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in to the applicant dashboard on xatonline.in without delay.
  2. Cross-check every field in the submitted application form.
  3. Correct any wrong academic marks or preferred test city.
  4. Upload a clear, recent photo and signature if the current ones look unclear.
  5. Save the final version and download the updated confirmation page.
