VJEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements start from the 6th semester in our college and a student has to be free of arrears and have an average CGPA to qualify for the placement process.There is a placement officer in the college who co-ordinates and manages all the companies that come into the college and communicate with them to interact with certain students.Some of the prominent companies are cognizant , TCS , wipro ,Infosys etc. The students can get an average salary of maybe between 3-5LPA, These amounts can vary according to the students potential.

Companies come to the college from the 6th sem and goes on till 8th sem.The placements are given based on various criterias and tests.The first round is the aptitude round for most campanies later the group discussion round and finally the interview round.For tcs passing the aptitude round will qualify them for the 3lpa package and passing rhe intermediate round will qaulify the student for the 7 lpa package and advanced round will wualify them for the 9+ lpa package.Mostly the visiting companies are tcs,wipro,federal bank,infosys etc.Gate score and good gpa can boost the chances for getting placed.

The students are eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. The comapnies like cognizant, infosys, tcs etc have visited and recruited students from my college before. A student must have no arrears as well as an average CGPA to qualify for campus placements. The highest payment would be between 5-8LPA .

Placements are very good. We have companies coming for placement like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, cognizant, TCS and many more. Recruiting students at a large scale is obvious and the person who is intelligent enough can also get a high level of package.

The placement cell at vjec actively helps students secure internships and job oppurtunies,although some other colleges i applied had better industry connections,the placement cell organizes training ,mock interviewa and career guidance sessions.

Students are eligible for placements from S7 onwards. The placement statistics say around 60 -70% of students are placed but that doesn't mean all are happy with what they got. Most of them have packages ranging from 1.5 to 5 Lakhs per annum which is not that great. But the placement Coordinator is really helpful. The placements also depend on the skills of the students. The college is trying its best to bring new opportunities. It lies in the hands of the students whether they pass or not. Many also choose for higher studies and also go for off-campus placement opportunities.

Our college provides placement oppertunity very well. There are placements available for all departments. Computer science have more placement oppertunities,but that doesn't mean other departments have less I got placed at Bangalore through college placement

Our collage always clears the syllables before the exam, it is one of the best thing especially for me. I personally liked mechanical and passionate about cars so i have chosen the course. The faculties here will help us to complete the syllables before the main exams.

I choose BTech in Computer Science and Design because of editing and multimedia inside the course.This will provide the interact level prepared for real-world applications.Some teachers need to take effort to naratte in simple way .The frequency and time of exam are okay -okay situation.

Our college provides good campus placements. From third year onwards the campus placements starts . Our college gives us practice programs for campus interviews and the average packages is is from 18000 to 45000
