Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is good but a little overpriced. We have 3 blocks each for boys and girls. A common room having board games, table tennis, football, TV etc. Mess serves good hygienic food. The students and teachers living in residence have the same food so food quality is kept in check. Day scholars can purchase coupons for meals if they want to have them in college mess. The menu has all kinds of dishes so it doesn't get boring. Hostel facilities include 24/7 hot water geysers, a microwave per block 10-12 people share a washroom having 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. It is high priced as compared to other colleges. We have to apply for residence on the college website every year. I was in college residence in my 2nd year. In 1st year I was in pg near Vishwa Vidyalaya metro station. Kamla Nagar, Roop Nagar, Mukherjee Nagar, Vijay Nagar, GTB Nagar or Timarpur area are nearby places you can get a PG or a flat in.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 6 different hostel buildings spread across campus. 3 are for male members and 3 for females. The total capacity is about 350 students. A sharing room is provided for first and 2nd-year students while a single room is given to third year and masters students. The mess provides 3 meals with every day and tea in the evening. Non-veg is also served 5 days a week. The hostel and mess are not the most luxurious. However, the price makes it affordable for most students as compared to other options like PGs. There is also a 10 pm curfew for female members and a strict policy to take leave from the hostel.

I lived in the hostel for some time and all the basic amenities are available there but one has to make sure that they reach the hostel especially women by 10 pm. The meal quality is average but you get a variety of food to eat.

Hostel Facilities :

It is a Herculean task getting hostel/residence in our college. There are 3 blocks for girls and 3 blocks for boys. The number of residents that these blocks can accommodate is 400. So the college gives residence to only a limited number of students. 50% of the seats are reserved for Christian students and a specific percentage of seats are reserved for boys and vice versa. The college gives residence to students based on merit, attendance, and a separate interview for residence. In the first year, students are supposed to share their rooms. There will be a maximum of 2 people in each room. But there is a chance you'll get a single room in your second year. Hostel rooms are really really old and the washrooms are poorly maintained. The rooms are spacious enough.

Hostel Facilities :

I did apply for the Residence( In Stephens we don't call them hostel we call it residence ^_^) but I did not make the cut for it. So, i found a PG nearby in Kamala Nagar, its about 2Km away from my college and I can walk to my college from my PG. It costs me 8500 per month including food and excluding electricity. I have a non AC double sharing room with washing machine available for the students staying there. I think so my PG is a good bargain and I could not have got such a PG at any better rate. Just one issue that its a Veg PG and I'm a Non Veg foodie, but this problem is also solved as my PG is located in a market place where everything is nearby whether it be KFC, MacDonalds, Subway, or anything else.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels were decent with both individual and shared accommodation. The washrooms were common and rooms were serviced. Separate accommodation was available for girls in one section of a hostel. The fees were Rs 20 a month plus mess charges of Rs 120 per month.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I was in hostel. Since st. Stephen's College is a very old college so hostel rooms are very old. We don't call hostel as hostel we call it residence. The condition of the rooms is fine. The rooms are not fancy at all and there is no balcony in the room and for final year students there is single seater room. Hostel seats are really very few. So many of the students live in nearby pg's. The average rentals which need to be paid is 10000 rs per month.

"St. Stephens, delhi university"

I had applied for BTech colleges after 12th but I went to pursue my interest and hence I decided to get admitted to St. Stephen's College, Delhi university. Various cut off lists were released based on the 12th board marks. Our college offers 50% reservation to Christian students. In the year 2018 cut off for my course was 97% in PCM. Then all those who managed to clear cut off were called for an interview. The interview was an amazing experience and the senior chemistry faculty took it. After interviewing all final list of 54 students was released with some getting residence (college hostel).

"BA Program at St. Stephen's College"

Good faculty, Small class size, Alumni network, Above average placement packages. The admissions usually open in May, after board results are declared. Only 1 cutoff list is released. Clearing cutoff is the first step. After this, there is a written test and interview for all those who score above the cutoff. Interviews are scheduled for the month of June. The cutoff is usually 98+ for the general category and 90+ for Christian students. The test includes 5 general knowledge MCQs and written comprehension and is 1 hour long. The interview questions range from subjects from the class 12 syllabus, hobbies and future goals. 85% weightage is given to 12th board marks. 10% to the interview. 5% to

"From a student of St. Stephen's College"

St. Stephen's College has an aura and legacy of polishing the students by providing them with the best exposure through involvement in numerous activities. Without an iota of doubt, the college has the finest teachers for various departments. I chose the BA Programme course because it is not specialised and on a graduation level one can study different subjects. The strength of the class is around 60; easier to have direct interaction with the teachers. St. Stephen's College is not just about academic learning, moreover, the college offers enrollment in different societies like the Hindi Sahitya Sabha, Shakespeare Society for literature fanatics, Sabha for theatre lovers etc. The college has
