Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), established in 1971, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India, is a benchmark institution in the history of film-making, with its alumni leaving a major impact in the Indian Film and Television industry and the recipients of National and International awards respectively.
The institution offers Bachelors and Masters degrees, as well as Diploma and Certificate courses in subjects like Direction & Screenplay Writing, Cinematography, Radio and Sound Design, Editing, Acting, Direction and Production Design, Feature Film Screenplay Writing, TV Direction, Electronic Cinematography, Video Editing and Sound Recording and TV Engineering.
