- We conduct foundation day, and celebrate festivals like onam, christmas and we have a students union leading sports and arts club in the college.
- Experienced teachers . thiruvananthapuram dental college has several experienced and talented teachers willing to help the students learn more about dentistry.
- The college is very reputed and we get a great exposure to patients

- Lack of hostel facilities.currently we are allotted in bpharm hostel.we dont have a specific hostel for dental students.
- They do not provide hostel for ladies. so it is difficult to stay in private
- The mess cut will provide only if we cut the mess for more than five days.

- Excellent infrastructure. Vast number of patients visiting daily assuring good clinical exposure for the students.
- Highly experienced faculties who were once the students of the same campus, thus familiar with the atmosphere inside the campus and the mindset students would have.
- Along with the progress in academics, the college also provides good atmosphere for the students to interact socially. Festivals are celebrated with great zest.
Dislikes
- The communication problem faced by the non keralite students.
- Transportation facility is disappointing. Even after paying a huge sum of PTA fund, we still have to face the difficulty while travelling to the distant campus for classes.
- I personally disliked the locality surrounding the college premise.
Course Curriculum Overview:
To be honest, the course and the underlying career is getting saturated in this country. Still this college gives hope for a better and productive future for each of the student.the academic curriculum is well planned.

- Professor are very helpful and they make us expertise in our work
- Lot of art and cultural program, like we have interdental where all the government colleges of Kerala will gather
- Our internship stars after 4 yr, during that we get around 27313 rs
Dislikes
- There is no campus, infrastructure is very poor
- In preclinical lab some of the phantom head chair won't be working,in prostho lab there won't be enough space to do our work
- Ortho lab is very small , there's only one machine to do our things
Placement Experience:
There is nothing something like placement in medicine.after finishing our course we will be completing our internship in hospital attached to college after that most of the people goes for pg or some will start their practice

Our studies are of 5-year course
Every year there is a University exam and l am a first-year student. there are two internal exams that are already finished a model exam and finally a University exam. Good quality exams that help us improve our studies

BDS is not an underrated course much hand skill is needed for the BDS
Here practical work is more important

- The course is very hectic and tremendous .
- The course requires you to buy a lot of instruments which makes the course economically draining .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is a bit hectic , daily revision is mandatory for ensuring success . First years have two sessional exams and a model exam all of which acts as internal exams as well as a preparatory test for the final university exam .

Course Curriculum Overview:
Iam a neet aspirant who wished to study MBBS but unfortunately i ended up with bds, but now Iam in love with this course. This course need so much artistic skill along with studying. We have Anatomy, biochemistry, physiology and dental anatomy and oral histology. There is lot to study. Exam is for 3 hours. To me this time is enough to complete the exam

Its nice. My ambition was to become doctor. So i choose this. Its littile hard to study and work this all stuffs. But gradually it will okay. We need some hand skill for it. Otherwise we should work hard to grasp it

Course Curriculum Overview:
The specifc aspect of the curriculum which i like the most is the Theoretical knowledge along practical experience is providing by our curriculum. It prepares us for real world application nd further academic pursuits
Exams are conducting in a normal frequency by giving us enough time to prepare

- It is difficult to go for other medical subjects to medical college.We have classes in dental college and medical college and we have to walk here ro there and there is no sufficient transport facility.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm in first year currently and in first year it is basically all the basics or the preclinical studies.they help us develop the skills required before entering the clinics.Numerous test papers are conducted which is great for revision of the topics.
Although we are dental students, I think every medical student should know the basic emergency skills like CPR.I think adding the basic medical emergency skills as part of the course would be great.
