Madras University Distance Education Scholarships

The college aims at assisting students financially so they can have a better learning experience. Students have to apply for scholarships at the beginning of the academic year. Madras University Distance Education offers the following scholarships: 

  • Central Sector Plan Scheme of National Overseas Scholarship for Students with Disabilities for Studying Abroad: Scholarship is provided to students with disabilities to pursue their studies in the foreign countries, there are specifications for subjects under this scheme.

Ques. How to get Direct Second/Third Year (BCA & MCA) Admission?

Ans. Candidates can apply directly to the second year. They must enclose two copies of the syllabus of the paper/papers for which exemption is requested. The following Certificates (Original) must be there without fail:

  • 10th Mark Sheet of Candidate.
  • 12th Mark Sheet of Candidate.
  • UG Degree of 1st and 2nd Year Statement of Marks.
  • A Transfer Certificate from the Institute from where he/she completed the First/Second Year UG Course.
  • Two attested photostat copies of the documents above.
  • The prescribed format for UG Lateral Admission.
  • Copy of Syllabus duly attested is also required.

Ques. How can one take admission in MBA programs?

Ans. One needs to clear the CAT in order to take admission in an MBA program. The student must secure marks/rank better than the cut-off of the college.
