A dedicated placement cell manages industry outreach, internship drives, and campus recruitment coordination throughout the year.

GCOEN Nagpur vs LIT Nagpur vs YCCE Nagpur

Aspirants comparing GCOEN Nagpur frequently weigh it against Laxminarayan Institute of Technology (LIT Nagpur), another government-aided engineering institute under RTM Nagpur University, and Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE Nagpur), a well-known private autonomous college in the city.

GCOEN and LIT are both government-aided with comparable fee structures and no management quota - the primary differentiator is LIT’s longer legacy (80+ years) and broader branch portfolio. YCCE offers an autonomous curriculum with strong industry ties, but at a significantly higher fee. GCOEN’s NIRF 151-200 band gives it a clear advantage on national recognition metrics over both peers.

Yes, admission is still possible without MHT-CET MTech, provided you have a valid GATE score. GCOEN accepts GATE for PG admission and allocates seats through CCMT counselling, bypassing MHT-CET entirely.
