Step 1: Entrance Exam
Admissions in B.Arch. are totally based on performance in the Entrance Exam. Candidates will have to appear either for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or JEE (Mains) Paper-II. These both are national level exams conducted twice a year. NATA is directed by the Council of Architecture (COA) whereas JEE (Mains) is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).

Step 2: College Admission Procedure
If the candidate gets shortlisted in the merit list of NATA or/ and JEE (Mains) Paper-II, then he/she can apply for the counseling process. The candidate will be provided admission on the basis of his skills and availability of seats.
The Bachelor in Architecture course has a place next to engineering courses. There are many jobs in the field of construction in the public and private sector, once the aspirants complete their studies. But, it is equally difficult for B.Arch. students to get placed on campus as there are very few firms who actually hire fresh graduates from architectural colleges.
Anantrao Pawar College tries to provide internships to the last year students so that they can start their career as an architect. The college has provided 100% internship opportunities to its students. The interns are often placed in the same company where they go for internships.
The Department of Architecture has 13 core faculty members. Out of these 13, 5 faculties have an experience of more than 20 years and all of the 13 faculty members hold M.Arch or M.Phil. The department also has 3 allied faculties who also have experience of 20+ years. The department also has some visiting faculties who are really very knowledgeable and hold an experience of more than 40 years.
