SCMS Nagpur Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026 batch at SCMS Nagpur have concluded. The programme commenced on July 21, 2026. The next admission cycle for the 2027 batch is expected to open in December 2026, anchored by the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).

SCMS Nagpur Courses and Fees

SCMS Nagpur offers a single undergraduate programme: BBA (Honours / Honours with Research), a 4-year full-time degree awarded by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Total intake is 180 seats per year.

Hostel accommodation is available for both boys and girls. Hostel fees range from INR 1,62,300 to INR 2,20,000 per year depending on room type. Including hostel for all 4 years, the total outgo for a General category student ranges from INR 21.62 to 24.43 Lakhs.

SCMS Nagpur Admission Process

Admission to SCMS Nagpur BBA is entirely merit-based through the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). There is no management quota. No national exam other than SET is accepted.

BBA (Honours / Honours with Research)

• Eligibility: minimum 50% in 10+2 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates
• SC and ST candidates require minimum 45% in 10+2
• NRI and PIO candidates need a minimum 50% equivalent in their 10+2
• Candidates appearing in Class 12 boards are also eligible to apply, subject to meeting marks at the time of admission

The selection process follows two stages. Stage 1 is the SET (SITEEE) computer-based test of 60 minutes. Stage 2 is an online Personal Interview for SET-qualified candidates. Final merit combines SET score and PI performance.

• 25% seats (45 seats) are reserved for Nagpur Urban Domicile candidates
• 75% seats (135 seats) are open to candidates from across India
• Within the Nagpur domicile pool: SC 15%, ST 7.5%, PwD 3% reservations apply
• 2 supernumerary seats reserved for Jammu and Kashmir migrants
• 15% of seats over and above the general intake are allocated to NRI and PIO candidates

The BBA Honours with Research track is not selected at admission. Students who achieve a CGPA of 7.5 or above by the end of Semester 6 are eligible to continue in the Research stream in Years 3 and 4.

SCMS Nagpur has recorded a highest placement package of INR 8 LPA and an average package of INR 4.3 LPA in its placement season. Given that the institute was established in 2019, placement data covers a limited number of graduating batches and the recruiter base is still developing.
