Waste Management refers to the process and involvement of actions that are required to manage the waste. This involved various schemes to manage and dispose of the waste. It helps us reduce the effects of waste on the environment and the health of living beings. There are several types of waste management that include the disposal of solid waste, liquid waste, gaseous waste, or hazardous substances. The waste management and the disposal of waste can be done by following the 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle the waste. Reducing waste refers to reducing the amount of garbage/trash produced. Reusing is the using of the materials more than once and recycling refers to creating a new product or a new material out of the waste produced.
