The absolute value of an integer refers to a numerical value of an integer without considering its sign.
| For Example: The absolute value of -7 and +7 is 7 itself. |

On a number line, the number increases as one moves toward the right and decreases as we move toward the left.
| Hence, the order of integers can be written as: –5, –4, – 3, – 2, – 1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. |

Commutativity Property: For any two integers a and b, a + b = b + a.
| Example: 5 + 3 = 3 + 5 |
- The product of a negative and a positive integer is always a negative integer.
| Example: 10 × −2 = −20 |

Distributive Property of Integers: Under multiplication and addition, the integers show the distributive property.
| For any integers a, b and c, a × (b + c) = a × b + a × c. |
