Examples of Class 7 Chapter 1 Integers

Ques. Solve:

  1. (-5) × 6 
  2. (-6) × (-4) × (-2)
  3. 10 × [(6 + (-2)]

Ans.

  1. (-5) × 6 = - (5 x 6)

= -30

  1. (- 6) × (- 4) × (- 2)

= (24) x (-2)

= -48

  1. 10 × [(6 + (- 2)]

Simplifying the inner bracket first, we get

10 x [(6 – 2)]

=10 x 4

= 40
