The Technische Universität Ilmenau, abbreviated as TU Ilmenau, is a public research university situated in Ilmenau, Thuringia, Germany. Established in 1894 as a private educational institution named Thuringian technical center by Eduard Jentzen, the university has an extensive history in the schooling of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.

Germany scholarship for students in diploma, bachelor, and master programs - 300 Euro per month is provided for at least one year and maximum duration of the standard period of study
Thuringian Graduate Funding for Ph.D. students - 1,350 Euro per month is provided for 2 years
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) – It is the largest scholarship database for the students to select suitable scholarship for themselves.
In addition, the students may also apply for scholarships from foundations and corporate scholarships.
