Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has pushed the BTech 2026 last date to Aug 15 for those applying through JEE Main 2026 scores. Registrations remain open on aeee.amrita.edu with a Rs 500 fee for the JEE Main route.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham BTech Application Deadline 2026 Extended to July 15

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AVV) has extended the BTech admission 2026 application deadline at aeee.amrita.edu. The Bachelor of Technology (BTech) 2026 application window will now close on Aug 15, 2026.

Candidates applying through JEE Main 2026 scores can benefit from this extension. AVV conducts BTech admissions through the Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE).

Applicants can also apply using their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 scores. Admission is offered across eight Amrita engineering campuses located across India.

Who Is Eligible for Amrita BTech 2026?

The university has laid out clear eligibility rules for BTech aspirants. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A minimum aggregate of 60 percent in these three subjects is required.

Applicants must score at least 50 percent in each subject. Candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2005. A valid AEEE 2026 or JEE Main 2026 score is mandatory for admission.

Amrita Engineering Campuses and Branches

The BTech programme is offered across eight campuses. These are Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Haridwar, and Nagercoil.

Popular branches include Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Other options include Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The university also offers Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Automation and Robotics.

How to Apply for Amrita BTech 2026?

The application process is fully online. Candidates need to register on the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP). The AOAP is linked from aeee.amrita.edu.

Applicants must enter their personal details, academic marks, and entrance exam score. They then need to pay the application fee online. Required documents must be uploaded and the form must be submitted before the Aug 15, 2026 deadline.

AEEE 2026 Exam Pattern

The AEEE 2026 is a computer-based test of 150 minutes. It carries 100 multiple-choice questions in total.

Mathematics has 40 questions, Physics has 25 questions, and Chemistry has 20 questions. The paper also includes 10 questions from Quantitative Aptitude and 5 questions from English.
