APSCHE has extended the AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2026 Phase 1 reporting deadline to October 13. Allotted candidates must complete self-reporting and college reporting at cap.apcfss.in to confirm their LLB or LLM seats.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has extended the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) and Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) 2026 Phase 1 reporting deadline to October 13, 2026. Allotted candidates can now complete self-reporting and college reporting on the official portal at cap.apcfss.in.
The earlier window for Phase 1 reporting was October 7 to October 9, 2026. The extension gives aspirants four additional days to confirm their allotted seats. The move follows the Phase 1 provisional seat allotment released on October 7, 2026.
The counselling covers admission to three-year and five-year LLB programmes under AP LAWCET. It also covers LLM admissions through AP PGLCET. Seats were allotted on the basis of rank, category, and web options filled by candidates.

Revised AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2026 Phase 1 Reporting Schedule
| Event | Revised Date |
|---|---|
| Phase 1 Seat Allotment Result | October 7, 2026 |
| Self-Reporting on cap.apcfss.in | Up to October 13, 2026 |
| Physical Reporting at Allotted College | Up to October 13, 2026 |
| Last Date to Pay Admission Fee | October 13, 2026 |
How to Complete Self-Reporting on cap.apcfss.in?
Self-reporting is the first mandatory step after seat allotment. Candidates must finish it before visiting the allotted college. The process is fully online and takes a few minutes.
- Visit the official portal at cap.apcfss.in.
- Log in using your AP LAWCET or PGLCET hall ticket number.
- Download the provisional allotment order from your dashboard.
- Pay the prescribed tuition fee through the online payment gateway.
- Submit the self-reporting form and save the acknowledgement.
Documents Required for College Reporting
After self-reporting, candidates must physically report at the allotted college. The following original documents are required for verification.
- AP LAWCET or PGLCET 2026 rank card and hall ticket
- Provisional allotment order downloaded from the portal
- Class 10 and intermediate marks memos
- Qualifying degree certificate for three-year LLB and LLM aspirants
- Transfer Certificate and Study Certificates from Class 9 to graduation
- Income, caste, and residence certificates where applicable
- Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs
What Happens If You Miss the October 13 Deadline?
Candidates who fail to report by October 13 will lose their allotted seats. The vacant seats will then move to the Phase 2 counselling round. Such candidates may need to participate in later phases to seek admission.
Those unhappy with their current allotment can also skip reporting. They can instead exercise fresh web options in Phase 2. However, this carries the risk of being allotted a lower-preference college.
Phase 1 reporting extensions are rare in AP law counselling. The four-day buffer helps aspirants arrange documents from distant home towns. It also eases pressure on candidates awaiting pending certificates from universities.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Log in to cap.apcfss.in and download the allotment order.
- Pay the admission fee online before October 13, 2026.
- Keep all original certificates and two photocopy sets ready.
- Visit the allotted college with documents and acknowledgement slip.
- Collect the signed admission confirmation receipt from the college.
APSCHE is expected to release the AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2026 Phase 2 counselling schedule shortly. Watch cap.apcfss.in for fresh web option dates and seat matrix updates.
