The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has set up a task force to ensure a streamlined admission process for the academic session 2023-24.

New Delhi: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has set up a task force to ensure a streamlined admission process for the academic session 2023-24. The task force, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain, will assist the Central Admission Committee in facilitating a smooth and efficient admission procedure.
The BHU task force consists of individuals from various Institutes, Faculties, and Centers, who will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the Central Admission Committee and their respective Institutes or Faculties. Their main objective is to facilitate a seamless admission process.
In addition, these task force members will assist the Central Committee in developing a similar admission process for postgraduate admissions. Meanwhile, the BHU admission is conducted through CUET UG. In the year 2022, BHU received the second highest number of applications through CUET UG.
Moreover, this year, the CUET UG 2023 began on May 21 and is scheduled to be conducted till June 7. A total of 14, 99, 778 students have registered for CUET UG 2023. Earlier, this month, the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced that it will set aside a specific amount of funding, 25% extra funding for sports related activities in the university campus.
