BHU has released the UG Round 2 seat allotment result on the Samarth portal. Allotted candidates must pay the admission fee by August 8 2026 by 11:59 PM or the seat stands cancelled. Freeze and Upgrade options are available.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the UG Round 2 seat allotment result 2026 on the Samarth admission portal at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 2 must complete the admission fee payment by August 8, 2026.
The BHU UG Round 2 allotment result was released on August 6, 2026 at 8:00 PM. Candidates can access their allotment status by logging in with their CUET UG application credentials.
Candidates must pay the required admission fee before 11:59 PM on August 8, 2026. Failure to complete the payment within the deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. BHU has also advised candidates to use a PC or laptop while making the online payment.

BHU UG Round 2 Freeze vs Upgrade Option
Candidates who accept their Round 2 allotted seat will have the option to choose between Freeze and Upgrade.
- Freeze: Candidates can retain their currently allotted seat and will not be considered for further seat upgradation in subsequent rounds.
- Upgrade: Candidates can retain the current seat while remaining eligible for a better preference in upcoming allotment rounds. If a higher-preference seat is allotted, candidates may have to pay the applicable fee difference.
Candidates should select the option carefully according to their admission preference.

How to Pay BHU UG Round 2 Admission Fee?
Candidates can complete the BHU UG Round 2 admission fee payment through the Samarth admission portal. The entire process is online.
- Visit bhucuet.samarth.edu.in.
- Log in using the CUET application credentials.
- Open the Round 2 seat allotment details.
- Choose the Freeze or Upgrade option.
- Proceed to the online payment gateway.
- Pay the applicable admission fee before the deadline.
- Download and save the payment receipt for future reference.
Round 2 fills a large share of BHU UG seats. Non-payment by August 8 cancels the seat automatically. Once cancelled, the seat cannot be revived in later rounds.
