The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the Post Graduate Dental Admission Counselling (PGDAC) 2026 Round 2 seat matrix on its official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The document lists 86 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats across three colleges in Bihar. Round 2 choice filling opens on September 13, 2026.
The seats are spread across one government college and two private dental institutes. Admission is based on merit from the NEET MDS 2026 result. Round 1 counselling filled only 42 of the 86 seats.

What Is the Counselling Fee and Security Deposit?
The counselling fee is fixed at Rs 2,200 for all categories. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online. Security deposits differ by seat type and category, as listed below.

How to Take Part in Round 2 Choice Filling?
Candidates who took free exit from Round 1 will find their earlier preferences marked null and void. Such candidates must file fresh choices to remain in Round 2. Registered PGDAC 2026 candidates can also fill preferences during the notified window.
Steps to complete Round 2 choice filling are as follows:
- Visit the official BCECEB portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
- Log in using the PGDAC 2026 user ID and password.
- Open the Round 2 choice filling module on the dashboard.
- Add and rearrange college preferences by order of interest.
- Lock the choices before the window closes on September 14, 2026.
What Happens After Seat Allotment?
The provisional seat allotment result will be hosted on the BCECEB portal on September 17, 2026. Allotted candidates must report to the assigned college on September 18 or 19, 2026 for document verification and admission. Failure to report within the window will cancel the allotment.
Candidates should carry originals and self-attested copies of the following at reporting:
- NEET MDS 2026 rank card and scorecard.
- BDS degree and internship completion certificate.
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets.
- Category certificate, if applicable to the claimed seat.
- Domicile certificate for the state quota claim.
Only 42 of the 86 MDS seats were taken in Round 1. Around 44 seats plus any free-exit vacancies are on offer in Round 2. This gives mid-range NEET MDS rankers a real second chance at a Bihar dental seat.
