Bihar PGEAC 2026 Round 2 Counselling Registration Begins at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in; Check Steps to Apply

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has opened the Round 2 registration for the Post Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (PGEAC) 2026. The online application window went live on July 31, 2026 on the official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The board issued the notification under Advertisement Number BCECEB(PGEAC)-2026/05.

The counselling covers admission to Master of Technology (M.Tech) courses in government engineering colleges of Bihar. Only candidates with a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scorecard can take part in this round.

PGEAC 2026 Round 2 Key Details

Who Is Eligible for PGEAC 2026 Round 2?

The Round 2 window is open to candidates holding a valid GATE scorecard. Candidates who registered in Round 1 but did not secure a seat can apply again. Fresh candidates who missed Round 1 may also register during this window.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in the relevant branch. Domicile and reservation rules follow the Bihar state government norms specified in the official notification.

How to Register for PGEAC 2026 Round 2?

The registration process is fully online through the BCECEB portal. Candidates should follow the steps listed below.

• Visit the official portal at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
• Click on the PGEAC 2026 Round 2 registration link.
• Enter personal, academic, and valid GATE score details.
• Upload a scanned photograph, signature, and required documents.
• Pay the application fee through the online gateway.
• Submit the form and save the confirmation slip.

What Is the Application Fee?

The PGEAC 2026 application fee is Rs 2,200 for all categories. This includes Unreserved, EWS, BC, EBC, SC, ST, and PwD candidates. The fee is non-refundable once payment is confirmed.

Payment modes include net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI. Candidates should keep the payment receipt for future counselling steps.

What Happens After Registration Closes?

Registered candidates will get a choice filling window on the same portal. They must list their preferred branches and colleges in order of choice. The board will then release the Round 2 seat allotment result in August 2026.

Allotted candidates must download the allotment letter from the portal. They must then report to the assigned centre for offline document verification and admission.
