Bihar PGEAC 2026 Round 3 Counselling Schedule Released; Check How to Apply

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued a fresh notice for the third round of PGEAC 2026 counselling. PGEAC stands for Post Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling.

The notice was released on August 30, 2026. Candidates can check the complete details at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Two official advertisements have been issued for this round: ADV_PGEAC26_08 and ADV_PGEAC26_09.

Who Can Apply for the Third Round?

Only GATE-qualified candidates can participate in this round. Applicants must have a valid GATE 2026 score. The counselling is being conducted for admission to MTech programmes offered by Bihar government engineering colleges.

Fresh candidates who missed the previous rounds can also apply. Candidates who did not receive a seat in the earlier rounds may register again.

Registration for the third counselling round will take place completely online. Candidates should follow these steps carefully:

How Are Seats Allotted in the Third Round?

Allotted candidates must accept the seat within the prescribed deadline and report to the allotted college on time. Failure to complete the reporting process may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
