The Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) offers a number of different programmes at the post graduate and doctoral level, including Master’s degrees, PG Diplomas and Ph.D. programmes. The University is not only offers a variety of UG courses, but it also offers Bachelor Preparatory Programmes as well.

The University follows a semester system for all UG, PG & Doctoral courses. Therefore, examinations are held at the end of both the even and odd semesters. For Master’s programmes, the odd semester begins in October, with the examinations in the month of April and May, whereas the even semester begins in the month of May, with examinations in the month of October.

Examinations are held at different centers, which are specified by the university well in advance. Results are declared in a timely manner primarily through the medium of the university’s online portal. Re-scrutiny applications are accepted up to one month after declaration of results at a nominal, non-refundable fee. The declaration of these re-scrutiny results is posted online as well as sent to the applicant, along with corrected mark sheet, if applicable.

KKHSOU Examination Schedule 2019

The examination schedule is posted every semester on the official website of the university, under the ‘Examination Center’ tab. The latest released Examination schedule offers the following details regarding the 5^th semester examinations of the various undergraduate courses at the university:

The examinations are held in the month of May for Master’s programmes for the odd semester. The other Bachelor programmes had their end semester examinations in the month of February. The list of examination centers can also be found online on the university official website.

KKHSOU Semester Result 2019

The examination results are also declared online through the official university website. Candidates may follow these steps to check their results.

• Go to the official website of the University.
• Click on the ‘Examination’ tab under Quick Links, or the relevant notification in the ‘Latest News’ ticker on the home page.
• Click on the relevant list under the heading ‘Semester Results’. Each semester will have a separate list.
• The results are given in the form of a list of register numbers under each division, i.e. First Class or Second Class etc., along with the overall statistics of the relevant course.
• If the candidate has had his or her results withheld, they must clear the related issue within 45 days to obtain their result. After this time period, a penalty will be implemented.

KKHSOU Re-scrutiny Result 2019

In the case of a candidate being unsatisfied with the obtained result, he or she may choose to apply for re-scrutiny. Applicants can apply for this a maximum of three times, and applications will be accepted only during the one month period following the declaration of results.

• Candidates can apply by paying the fee (Rs. 100 for re-scrutiny, Rs. 200 for photocopy, Rs. 300 for re-evaluation, per answer script), as well as filling in the required form within the time period stipulated by the university.
• The form is available online, and the results are similarly declared through the official university website.
• Results are sent to the applicants at the address stated on the self-addressed envelope that is required to be submitted alongside the application for re-scrutiny.
• If there is any improvement in marks, a corrected score sheet will be sent to the concerned individual as well.
