How to Check KSLU Results 2026?

The result opens in under a minute with the Registration Number. Students follow these steps on the portal.

  1. Open kslu.ed-it.in/result1.aspx, or use the KSLU Results link on kslu.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Select the course from the first dropdown.
  3. Select the semester and the correct marks pattern.
  4. Enter the Registration Number.
  5. Type the captcha text shown below the box.
  6. Click the GET RESULT button.
  7. Print or save the provisional result.

Example: A sixth semester 3 Year LL.B. student on the newer scheme picks 3 Year LL.B. first. The student then picks VI Semester (80 - 20 Pattern) and enters the Registration Number.

Choosing the Right Semester Pattern

The semester dropdown lists the same semester more than once. Each entry belongs to a different marks scheme. Picking the wrong one returns no result.

Dropdown Entry Marks Scheme
VI Semester (80 - 20 Pattern) 80 marks theory paper plus 20 marks internal assessment
124-IV Semester (100 Pattern) 100 marks theory paper, code-numbered semesters I to IV
VI Semester Plain entry with no pattern tag

The pattern depends on the admission batch. The college office confirms the scheme for each batch.

Details on the KSLU Provisional Result

The provisional result shows the marks paper by paper. Students should check each detail on the same day.

  • Student name and Registration Number
  • College name, course and semester
  • Subject-wise marks in theory and internal assessment
  • Total marks and the pass or fail status

A spelling or marks error goes to the college examination office first. The college forwards it to the Registrar (Evaluation) in Hubballi.

Note: The university issues the Passing Certificate and Provisional Degree Certificate only through the college.

KSLU Result Not Showing: Common Reasons

Most failed searches come from a wrong selection, not a missing result. These are the usual causes.

  • Invalid Reg No: the number is mistyped or belongs to another course.
  • Wrong pattern: an 80-20 student has picked the plain or 100 Pattern entry.
  • Wrong course: a Major-Minor B.A. LL.B. student has picked plain B.A. LL.B.
  • Captcha error: the refresh icon loads a new captcha text.

A result that stays blank after these checks goes to the college office. The college takes it up with the Registrar (Evaluation).

How to Apply for Revaluation and Challenge Valuation After the Result?

KSLU allows three remedies after every result. Students can ask for a photocopy, a revaluation or a challenge valuation. The university opens them through a separate notification after the result.

The notification for the June 2026 examination is expected on the official website. In the last even semester cycle, the university issued it on August 6, 2025. The fee and the order of deadlines from that cycle are below.

Remedy Fee per Answer Book Last Date in 2025 Cycle
Photocopy of answer book Rs. 400 August 16, 2025
Revaluation Rs. 500 August 21, 2025
Challenge valuation Rs. 2,100 August 27, 2025

Steps to Apply Through the College

Students cannot apply on their own. The college fills the online form with its own login.

  1. The student gives the request and the fee to the college office.
  2. The college fills the online application on the university website.
  3. The student and the principal sign the printout.
  4. The college pays the fee through SBI Collect.
  5. The college sends the form to the Registrar (Evaluation), Hubballi.

Example: A student fails one paper by a few marks. The student can first take the photocopy for Rs. 400. After reading the answer book, the student chooses revaluation or challenge valuation.

Important: Revaluation and challenge valuation are not allowed together for the same answer book.

Refund Rule for Revaluation and Challenge Valuation

The revaluation fee is never refunded under the KSLU Examination Ordinance 2014. The challenge valuation fee is refunded if the marks increase. Students applying for challenge valuation should keep bank account details ready.
