What the KSOU Result Shows?

The online result shows marks paper by paper. It lists the paper title, internal assessment (IA) marks and term-end exam marks.

Each entry on the list is marked as a Provisional Result. The university issues the original marks card later. Students can pay marks card postal charges on the exam portal.

Deadline: Errors in IA marks or paper titles must be reported within 30 days of the result date, with supporting documents.

Result Not Showing or Marks Missing? Common Fixes

Most result problems fall into a few groups. Each has a set fix.

Result Not Yet Published for the Course

KSOU declares results course by course and cycle by cycle. A July cycle student and a January cycle student in the same course may get results on different days. Students should match both the semester and the cycle on the results list.

Internal Assessment Marks Missing or Wrong

The Registrar (Evaluation) handles IA queries. For recent cycles, KSOU also routes these queries through the KSOU Academic Platform. Students should raise the issue within 30 days.

Online Programme Student Using the ODL Portal

Students of online-mode programmes will not find marks on the ODL results page. They need the online programme portal instead.

How to Apply for KSOU Revaluation and Photocopy After the Result?

KSOU accepts revaluation and photocopy requests online only. The application must reach the university within 14 days of the result date.

  1. Open the revaluation and photocopy page.
  2. Enter the register number and click Add New/Search Application.
  3. Fill in the papers and the postal address in block letters.
  4. Click Save, then upload the required documents.
  5. Pay the fee online.
  6. Download the application and the fee receipt.
  7. Post the printed application to the Registrar (Evaluation), KSOU, Mukthagangotri, Mysuru-570006.

Important: KSOU does not refund or adjust the fee once paid. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Revaluation results appear on the same results list, marked Provisional Re-Valuation Result. Example: the BA III Year revaluation result came out on September 22, 2026. The main BA III Year result had come out on July 24, 2026.
