The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) was established in the year 1996 and is one of the reputed open university in the country. KSOU has recently declared its results for its MBA CET examination 2020 on 16th February 2020. The results have been uploaded on the official website (https://ksoumysuru.ac.in/). Students need to open the official website and search for the results link. Search for your particular course result and click on the link to open the result. The result will open as a pdf from where you need to search for your name and roll number.

How to check KSOU result

Students in KSOU get their results from the official website. Here are some of the steps you need to follow

  1. Visit the Official Website of KSOU @ksoumysore.karnataka.gov.in
  2. On the homepage, find the exam results tab
  3. A new page will take you to the main Results page.
  4. Enter your Roll Number
  5. Then click on the Submit option
  6. You can take a printout for future purposes

How to apply for KSOU Result Revaluation?

Students who have not scored well in the first year or are not satisfied with their marks can appear for a revaluation test next year. The students need to apply for the revaluation test from the official website after the results have been declared. The university takes around 7-10 days to process the application and reevaluate the result. UG students need to pay 600 INR per paper and PG students need to pay 800 INR per paper as revaluation fees to the university.

KSOU Betterment Examination

Students who want a better result than what they have scored can apply for a betterment exam to improve their academic record. At KSOU, only the master’s courses students can apply for betterment examination. The student needs to score at least 35% which comprises the marks obtained from term-end examination and home assignments as indicated are required. Only One Chance will be given to students for betterment in the next session. For availing repeat performance or Betterment a student has to apply using a specific betterment form which is available on the website within one month from the date of declaration of result. Betterment chance can be availed of only for two papers in one Semester.

KSOU Back papers

The students of KSOU who have not passed any paper in the examination in 1st year have to sit for the back papers in the supplementary examination organized by the university. The fees of examination form fill up for back papers, regular papers and betterment papers(Master Degree only) are the same. The fees are as follows- Examination Center fees- Rs. 400/- (for Master Degree only), Rs. 300/- (for Other all) Examination fees per paper- Rs. 200/- Mark sheet fees- Rs. 100/- Late fine fees- Rs. 200/- (if a student pays examination fee after the due date with prior permission) 

KSOU Hall Ticket

The KSOU hall ticket is available at the official website. The students who have fulfilled the necessary criteria for examinations and have successfully submitted the examination form and fees are eligible for downloading the Hall Ticket for the examination. Here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Go to the official website
  2. Scroll down to find the Examination Hall Ticket bar at the left of the screen.
  3. Click on the Examination Hall Ticket option and choose the examination you will sit for.
  4. Click on the link beside it and a pdf opens with all the Hall Tickets.
  5. The hall tickets will have your Registration Number, Name, exam center and fee details.
  6. Check for your name and registration number carefully and download the hall ticket.
  7. Keep a hard copy of the Hall ticket with you during the examination.

FAQs

Ques. Is the KSOU result available to everyone?

Ans. Some results of KSOU are available in PDF format to everyone. But for some results, students need to input their enrollment numbers to get the result.

Ques. What is the procedure of Rechecking the examination script?

Ans. Students who want their examination results to be rechecked will have to fill up the application form for rechecking from the official website and pay the fees. For rescrutiny, the fees are 100 INR, for re-evaluation, the fees are 300 INR per paper. Students need to apply for rechecking within 1 month of the result declaration.
