The online marks are provisional. Colleges hand over the official mark sheet later. The university does not allow revaluation. Failed students can only get an answer script photocopy. It costs Rs. 1,000 per paper.

What the TNMGRMU Online Result Shows
The online result lists the student's details and subject-wise marks. Students should match every line against the admit card.
- Exam roll number and candidate name
- Course name and college name
- Paper code, paper name and paper type
- Marks scored in each paper
- Pass or fail status
Any spelling mistake or missing paper must be reported to the college exam cell. The college takes it up with the Controller of Examinations.
Important: The online result is provisional. The official mark sheet reaches students through their college.
MBBS Pass Marks Under NMC Rules
TNMGRMU follows the National Medical Commission rules for MBBS. A student needs at least 40 percent in theory and in practical, separately. The combined total of theory and practical must reach 50 percent.
No grace marks are added. A student who misses either condition fails that subject. The student then sits the supplementary exam for it.
Example: An MBBS student scores 42 percent in theory. Practical marks are 60 percent. The total comes to 51 percent. The student passes, since both limits are met.
Is Revaluation Allowed After the TNMGRMU Result?
No. University rules do not permit revaluation of answer papers. A failed student can only ask for a photocopy of the answer script. This helps the student see where marks were lost.
Photocopy of Answer Script Rules
Only students who failed a theory paper can apply. They must have passed the practical or clinical exam in that subject. The application goes to the Controller of Examinations, Chennai.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Fee | Rs. 1,000 per paper, paid through RTGS or NEFT |
| Form | Photocopy application form on the official website |
| Documents | Copy of the mark sheet and fee payment proof |
| Reason | Written by the student in their own handwriting |
| Endorsement | Signature and seal of the Principal or Dean |
Note: The last date to apply is set with each result. A late form is not accepted.
TNMGRMU Result Not Showing: Common Fixes
Most result errors come from a wrong term choice. Students often pick the professional name instead of the year name.
- Wrong term: BSMS has separate entries for Second Year and Second Professional. Try the other one.
- Course not listed: The result for that course is not out yet. Check the date-wise table again later.
- Result withheld: Pending fees or attendance issues can stop a result. The college exam cell can confirm the reason.
- Page not loading: The portal gets heavy traffic on result day. Try again after some time.
