Only JAM 2026 qualified candidates can apply for this round. The last date to register is July 18, 2026. The deadline closes at 5:30 PM IST that day.
The Special Round covers online registration, fee payment, and choice locking. Seats beyond declared vacancies may open during allotment. This happens due to upgradation or withdrawal by earlier allottees.

CCMN 2026 Registration and Participation Fees
The registration fee is category-based and must be paid online. Payment modes include net banking, debit card, credit card, and UPI. All fees are non-refundable once payment succeeds. The participation fee is charged only after seat allotment.

Which Institutes Participate in CCMN 2026?
CCMN 2026 covers M.Sc. and M.Sc. (Tech.) programmes at top institutes. Participating bodies include National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and IIEST Shibpur. Select Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) also accept CCMN allotment.

Who Is Eligible for CCMN 2026 Special Round?
Eligibility needs a valid JAM 2026 score and matching qualifying degree. Only programmes matching your degree background will appear on the list. The Minimum Eligibility Criteria set by participating institutes must also be met.

How Does Seat Allotment Work in the Special Round?
Seat allotment uses JAM 2026 merit and locked choices. The system considers category-wise reservations and institute-programme preferences. Vacant seats fill first, followed by upgradations from prior rounds.
