CENTAC NEET MDS 2026 Round 1 Draft Allotment Released; Check How to Verify Your Seat

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry, has released the Round 1 Draft Allotment for Post Graduate Dental (Master of Dental Surgery or MDS) courses for the 2026-2027 academic year. The list was published on September 6, 2026. Candidates can view it on the official CENTAC portal at centacpuducherry.in.

CENTAC has also uploaded a separate official notice titled “Round 1 Draft Allotment List for PG Dental (M.D.S.) Courses 2026-2027.” The allotment covers seats under the Government, Management, Minority and NRI quotas at approved dental colleges in the Union Territory of Puducherry. Only candidates included in the Final Merit List released on September 4, 2026, were considered for allotment.

Who Is Included in the Round 1 Draft Allotment?

The CENTAC MDS 2026 Round 1 Draft Allotment covers only those candidates who satisfy all the eligibility conditions prescribed by CENTAC. The main requirements are:

• The candidate must have a valid NEET MDS 2026 qualifying score.
• The candidate must be included in the Final Merit List released on September 4, 2026.
• The candidate must have submitted their MDS course preferences within the prescribed deadline.
• The candidate must belong to an eligible quota category.

How to Check the CENTAC MDS 2026 Round 1 Draft Allotment?

Candidates who submitted their course preferences can check the allotment list by following these steps:

1. Visit the official CENTAC portal at centacpuducherry.in.
2. Open the PG Dental (MDS) 2026-2027 section on the homepage.
3. Click the link titled “First Round Draft Allotment List of PG Dental Courses.”
4. Search for the application number or NEET MDS roll number.
5. Verify the allotted college, course and quota carefully.
6. Download and save the allotment list for future reference.

Institutions and Fee Notifications Linked to the Allotment

The draft allotment covers MDS seats at the Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences (MGPGIDS), Puducherry. It also includes seats at approved private dental colleges, such as the Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital (MINDS).

CENTAC released the MGPGIDS MDS fee structure on September 5, 2026. A separate notification regarding the reduced MINDS fees was issued on September 3, 2026. The fee regulations applicable to private institutions were notified earlier on August 28, 2026.

2. Confirm the allotted college, course, quota and category on the list.
3. Read the official Round 1 notice for the grievance window.
4. Raise objections through the grievance option on the portal, if needed.
5. Keep original certificates and the fee amount ready in advance.
6. Prepare to report to the allotted institute within the CENTAC deadline.
