Chandigarh MBBS/BDS Admission 2020: Application Counselling Begins @gmch.gov.in; Details Here

Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh has started the application process for counselling phase of Chandigarh MBBS/BDS Admission 2020 from November 2 on its website gmch.gov.in.

GMCH has allowed candidates to apply for the counselling session else the selected candidate’s seat will be forfeited. Only candidates who cleared the NEET UG 2020 exam are eligible to apply or register for the counselling phase of Chandigarh MBBS/BDS Admission 2020.

Chandigarh MBBS/BDS Application Form 2020: Steps to Apply

Candidates who managed to clear NEET UG 2020 are required to apply for the counselling process in the following manner:

• Go to the official website of GMCH gmch.gov.in.
• Visit the ‘Admissions’ tab. 
• Click on the ‘Candidate Login’. Candidates are required to log in using the required credentials.
• Fill in the educational qualification information.
• Hit the ‘Save’ button and then the ‘Next’ option.
• Attach the photograph and signature file in the JPEG format. The file size must be less than 20 kb. 
• Tap the ‘Next’ button.
• Upload the applicable category certificates like General/SC/ST/BC/Jaj/PWD.
• Click on ‘Course’ and select the course/ Click on the ‘Show’ button. The candidate must cross-verify all the details.
• Click on ‘Accept Terms and Condition’.
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• Click on ‘Next’.
• Proceed to pay the online application fee. Different category students have to pay different amounts for the application fee mentioned below.
• Click on the online payment of application fee for the admissions 2020.
• Click on ‘Accept Terms and Conditions’.
• Choose the application fee for different categories.
• Fill in the details asked like Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, etc.
• Cross-check the details and click on ‘Confirm’.
• Choose a suitable payment mode. Pay the application fee.

Chandigarh MBBS/BDS Application Form 2020: Documents Required 

Candidates are required to attach/upload the following documents in prescribed dimensions:

• NEET UG result/scorecard
• Matriculation / High/ Higher secondary school certificate that clearly shows the date of birth. Alternatively, candidates can upload a birth certificate issued by government authority.
• Certificate of having cleared 10+2/pre-medical/of 10+2+3) system showing equivalent examination from a recognized university/board. The candidate must provide the percentage of marks obtained in each of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English in class 11th and 12th separately.
• Eligibility and Equivalence certificate from Panjab University and Association of Indian Universities (AIU) (If applicable).
• Passport/ relevant document (e.g. PIO Card, OCI Card) of NRI/PIO/Foreign Indian Student status from a competent authority.
• Category certificates (if applicable).
