Chandigarh University (CU) has opened CUCET 2026 Phase 2 registration. CUCET stands for Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test. The official application portal is live at cucet.cuchd.in. Candidates can register till July 31, 2026.

The Phase 2 entrance exam will be conducted on August 1, 2026. CUCET decides both admission and the tuition-fee scholarship slab. It covers UG and PG programmes at the Punjab and Uttar Pradesh campuses.

Who Can Apply for CUCET 2026?

Engineering aspirants must have cleared Class 12 with the science stream. Physics and Chemistry must be present as core subjects. Mathematics is compulsory for B.E. and B.Tech applicants.

CUCET 2026 Exam Pattern

CUCET 2026 is an online, computer-based test of two hours. The paper carries 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Science-stream candidates attempt four sections in the paper. These are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The section list changes for management, law and pharmacy applicants.
