Delhi University to commence a joint degree, dual degree, and joint research programs to benefit international universities. The measure was taken after Members of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, visited the DU and discussed climate change.

New Delhi: The Delhi University will commence a joint degree, dual degree, and joint research programs to benefit international universities, as stated by Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh on September 19, 2023.
A statement from Delhi Univerisity further said that the Members of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, visited the DU and discussed climate change and other issues.
It said the delegation interacted with the deans/heads of departments of subjects like climate change, environment and sustainability, health and life sciences, basic sciences, food and agriculture, dairy and veterinary sciences, and economic law and humanities.
The Delhi University Vice Chancellor said, "India and Denmark have very old and traditional relations. It is a matter of pride for DU to have a relationship with Copenhagen University, the oldest university in the world."
He added that the University will start joint degree, dual degree, and joint research programs to benefit international universities."
Henrik Wegener, Rector, and chancellor of the University of Copenhagen, also said they have an extensive partnership with India. The joint meeting with a reputed institution in India like the University of Delhi is a matter of pleasure for them.
