Delhi University Declares CSAS UG 2026 Spot Round 1 Allotment; Check Fee Payment Deadline

The University of Delhi (DU) has released the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Undergraduate 2026 Spot Round 1 seat allotment on the official portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. The result was declared on August 25, 2026. Allocated candidates must accept the seat by August 27, 2026.

Spot Round 1 covers 13,433 vacant seats across 67 DU-affiliated colleges. Seats are available in the Unreserved, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, and minority categories. Only candidates who applied during the August 23 to 24, 2026 spot round window are eligible for this allotment.

Allocated candidates must complete college document verification by August 28, 2026, at 4:59 PM. The last date for online admission fee payment is August 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Missing any of these steps will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Check and Accept the DU CSAS UG 2026 Spot Round 1 Seat?

The entire acceptance process is conducted through the CSAS UG admission portal. Candidates must actively click the “Accept Seat” button to retain their allotment. Failure to respond will be treated as a rejection of the allotted seat.

1. Visit the official portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
2. Log in using the CSAS-UG 2026 application number and password.
3. Open the seat allotment tab on the dashboard.
4. Check the allotted college, programme, and category details.
5. Click the “Accept Seat” button before August 27, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

What Happens After Seat Acceptance?

Once a candidate accepts the allotted seat, the application is forwarded to the respective college. The allotted college will verify the uploaded documents and approve the application. This process must be completed by August 28, 2026, at 4:59 PM.

After the college approves the candidature, the fee payment link will become available on the CSAS dashboard. Candidates must pay the online admission fee by August 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Who Is Eligible for the Spot Round?

Only candidates who registered afresh or opted for the CSAS UG 2026 Spot Round between August 23 and August 24, 2026 are eligible. Applicants already admitted and holding a seat from an earlier round cannot switch their admission through Spot Round 1. Withdrawn candidates who applied again within the spot-round window remain eligible.
