The University of Delhi (DU) has issued a fresh Undergraduate (UG) vacancy list for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2026 Spot Round 1 admissions. A total of 13,433 seats remain vacant across DU colleges, spanning 1,160 college-programme combinations as of August 23, 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for DU Spot Round 1?

Only a specific set of candidates can participate in Spot Round 1:

• Candidates must have registered under CSAS UG 2026 earlier in the admission cycle.
• Candidates must not hold any DU seat as of August 22, 2026.
• Candidates already admitted during the first three rounds cannot apply.

How to Apply for DU CSAS UG 2026 Spot Round 1?

Candidates can apply through the same CSAS dashboard used during the previous admission rounds.

1. Visit the official CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
2. Log in using your CSAS UG 2026 credentials.
3. Open the Spot Round 1 application tab on the dashboard.
4. Reorder your programme and college preferences carefully.
5. Submit the preferences before 11:59 PM on August 24, 2026.

DU Spot Round 1 Restrictions

DU has introduced strict conditions for Spot Round 1:

• Withdrawals remain suspended throughout the Spot Round 1 window.
• There is no upgrade option after a seat is allotted.
• Accepting the allotted seat is compulsory once a candidate participates in the round.
