New Delhi: The Dean of the Students' Welfare Office at the University of Delhi has introduced the Financial Support Scheme (FSS) for students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. The qualified candidates are invited to apply for the DU Financial Support Scheme 2024, and the application deadline has been extended to January 17 instead of Jan 12, 2024.

As per the official announcement, within the DU FSS 2024, students will receive a fee exemption based on their annual family income. Qualified students can acquire the application form for the Delhi University Financial Support Scheme 2024 from the university's official website.
The initiation of the DU Financial Support Scheme 2024, aimed at financially disadvantaged students, aligns with the government's motto, "Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas." Students need to be aware that the DU Financial Support Scheme excludes examination fees and hostel fees.

Delhi University FSS 2024 Documents Required
To benefit from the relaxations provided by DU FSS 2024, candidates must submit a set of documents along with their application forms. The necessary documents for availing the Delhi University Financial Support Scheme include:
- Marksheet of the last exam passed.
- Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents, wherever applicable.
- Copies of the bonafide student in the Degree/Post Graduate degree course.
- Copies of fee receipts, each clearly indicating the amount under its respective heading.
- A copy of the student's bank passbook containing their name, account number, IFSC code, and a photograph pasted in the designated space.
- Family income declaration for the last fiscal year on the standard form issued by the Tehsildar or a similarly authorized authority, conforming to the panel's criteria.
