DU OBE Result 2020: Many Students Marked Absent in the Marksheet; Students File Complaints; Check Details Here

Delhi University marks absent or zero-upload in DU Open Book Examination (OBE) while declaring the result on monday night. Students are shocked as they had attempted and submitted the exams.

Many Delhi University students have filed complaints to the DU affiliated colleges after the declaration of DU OBE Result 2020.

A Geography (Hons.) student from Kirori Mal College reported that he appeared for the political geography paper on August 11, 2020, but he has been marked AB in his marksheet.

He said that he had sent the answer sheet via email as he couldn't upload it on the DU OBE portal. Thereafter he also received the confirmation email from the examination department.

He has now filed a complaint on five-six email IDs of the college and department. But has yet not received any confirmation. This makes the situation troublesome as many students have applied for postgraduate courses where they need to show the marksheet.

This issue is faced mostly by students of economics, mathematics, B.Sc programme, philosophy and geography.

Another DU student studying Economics said, "I have been marked zero for my environment economics paper though I had received a submission acknowledgement for it."

Examination Nodal Officer at College of Vocational Studies, Ashutosh Kumar said in the regard of DU OBE Result 2020, "We have received emails from students of all departments. I have around 40-50 such emails. While 20% of students say that their results are 'not found' and 80% have been marked absent in different papers."
