The University of Delhi (DU) has released the Postgraduate (PG) Upgrade Round allotment list on the official portal at pgadmission.uod.ac.in. Allotted candidates must accept the upgraded seat and pay the admission fee by July 23, 2026. The window closes at 11:59 PM on the deadline day.
The Upgrade Round is open only to candidates who already confirmed admission in an earlier round. It allows candidates to shift to a higher-preference programme or college. Those satisfied with their current seat need not take any action in this round.
Candidates must log in to the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) PG portal to check their allotment. They need their CUET PG application number and password to sign in.

How to Check the DU PG Upgrade Round Allotment 2026?
DU PG Upgrade Round allotment status is available on the CSAS PG dashboard. Candidates should follow the steps below to view their upgraded seat.
- Visit the official portal at pgadmission.uod.ac.in.
- Click on the CSAS PG 2026 login link on the homepage.
- Enter the CUET PG 2026 application number and password.
- Open the seat allocation tab on the dashboard.
- View the upgraded programme and college details on the screen.
- Download the allotment slip for future reference.

How to Accept the Upgraded Seat and Pay the Fee?
Accepting the seat and paying the fee are two separate actions. Both must be completed before the deadline for the admission to remain valid.
- Log in to the CSAS PG portal using your credentials.
- Click on the Accept option under the upgraded allotment.
- Review the fee break-up shown on the payment page.
- Pay the admission fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Save the payment receipt after a successful transaction.
Once the seat is accepted and the fee is paid, the department will verify the uploaded documents. Approval by the department confirms the upgraded admission.

What Happens if a Candidate Misses the Deadline?
Candidates who do not accept the upgraded seat by July 23, 2026 will lose the new allotment. Their earlier confirmed admission from the previous round will remain valid. No separate action is needed to retain the older seat.
However, once a candidate accepts the upgraded seat, the previous allotment is cancelled automatically. The upgrade cannot be reversed after acceptance.

The Upgrade Round is the final chance for admitted PG candidates to move to a higher-preference college or course. After this round, the CSAS PG allotment cycle typically shifts to Spot Rounds for vacant seats only.
