"It will not be possible to call the students for written tests. So the governing body has decided to do away with that. The interview will be held online and will carry 15 marks and the rest 85 marks will be allotted on the basis of class 12 performance. The detailed notification will be released soon." said Bishop Waris Masih, chairperson of St.Stephen's College.

He also added that the College has decided not to conduct trials for admissions under sports quota. Meanwhile, Delhi University scrapped group discussion and personal interview for PG Admissions 2020.

Some of the teachers are against online interviews and one of them stated, "It is alright to scrap written test components considering the prevailing situation but the virtual interviews will be a nightmare."

He further said that the college shortlists at least 5 to 7 candidates for each seat every year. It won't be possible to take so many interviews online. Also, it will be an injustice to the candidates who don't have proper access to the internet.

Another representative said that the online interviews should be removed as it will create a lot of confusion and panic among students.
