Gujarat NEET UG 2026 Stray Round Choice Filling Begins; Check Last Date to Submit

The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has opened the fourth round stray vacancy choice filling for the Gujarat NEET UG 2026-27 counselling at October 16, 2026, after 5:00 PM. Eligible candidates can refile their preferences for MBBS and BDS seats across state medical and dental colleges.

All previous choice selections made by candidates in earlier rounds have been cancelled by the committee. Fresh choice filling is mandatory for every registered candidate. Candidates must also provide online consent through their personal login before entering new choices.

Who Can Participate in the Stray Vacancy Round?

The committee has set strict eligibility conditions for this final round. Candidates registered in the Gujarat state quota pool can take part, subject to the exclusions below.

• Candidates who received a seat in the All India Quota stray vacancy round through MCC are not eligible.
• Candidates who confirmed a seat in Round 3 by paying fees and submitting original documents cannot participate.
• New registrants deemed eligible by the committee can access choice filling from 5:00 PM onwards.
• Candidates who did not confirm Round 3 admission may continue in the stray round.

How to Fill Choices for the Gujarat NEET UG Stray Round 2026?

The entire process is handled online by the Admission Committee. Candidates must complete each step within the stated window to remain in the merit list.

1. Visit the official portal at medadmgujarat.org and open the UG section.
2. Log in using your registered candidate ID and password.
3. Submit the online consent form confirming participation in the stray round.
4. Enter a fresh list of choices as all previous selections stand cancelled.
5. Review the choice order carefully and save the preferences before closing the window.

Document and Deposit Rules for Round 4

The committee has tightened verification norms from Round 3 onwards. Only original documents are accepted for reporting. DigiLocker copies and photocopies will not be entertained during admission.

Candidates allotted a seat in this round must confirm admission by paying the fee and submitting originals. Those who fail to confirm will lose their Rs 10,000 refundable security deposit. They will also become ineligible for any extended rounds held later.
