HPTU has released the HPCET 2026 MBA and MCA counselling schedule at himtu.ac.in. The first seat allotment result will be declared on July 20 2026. Candidates who registered by July 7 can prepare for the allotment rounds.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has released a fresh counselling notice for Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 admissions. The notice applies to MBA and MCA programmes offered by HPTU-affiliated institutes.
HPTU published the counselling schedule on its official website, himtu.ac.in. The HPCET 2026 first seat allotment result will be declared on July 20, 2026.
Only candidates who submitted the counselling form within the deadline are eligible for seat allotment. Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s HPCET rank, category and locked choices.

Programmes Covered Under HPCET Counselling
The current counselling schedule covers MBA and MCA seats offered by HPTU-affiliated institutes. The MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management programme is also included in the same counselling process.

HPCET Counselling Fee
HPTU charges a category-based, non-refundable counselling fee. Candidates must pay the fee through an online payment mode.

Candidates can pay the counselling fee through net banking, debit card or credit card. The fee, once paid, will not be refunded.
Documents Required for HPCET Counselling
Candidates should keep the scanned copies and original documents ready for verification. The required documents include:
- HPCET 2026 admit card and scorecard
- Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
- Class 12 mark sheet and passing certificate
- Graduation degree and mark sheets for MBA and MCA admissions
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Domicile certificate for Himachal Pradesh applicants
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Valid photo identity proof

What to Do After Seat Allotment?
Candidates who receive a seat must complete the document verification process within the notified deadline. Both the uploaded documents and original certificates will be checked.
After document verification, candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm and lock the allotted seat. The final step is to report to the allotted institute within the specified period.
HPTU runs a single counselling process for all affiliated colleges. Candidates apply once and access every eligible MBA and MCA seat in the state.
