GGSIPU Counselling 2026 Schedule Out at ipu.admissions.nic.in; Check Choice Filling Dates

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced the Round 2 counselling schedule for the 2026-27 admission session. All CET-qualified candidates must report in person at the university campus in Sector 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078 for document verification and seat allotment. The offline counselling process will be conducted from August 4 to August 11, 2026, for five programmes.

The counselling schedule covers MCA, M.Ed,Paramedical (B.PT/B.OT/BASLP/BPO/BMLS) (Code-119/124) and Bachelor of Education (Special Education) (Code-159) Programme. Candidates must carry all required documents, including the CET rank card, admit card, mark sheets, and category certificates, wherever applicable.

Counselling Venue and Reporting Instructions

All candidates must report in person at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078. Candidates should arrive on their scheduled date and time according to their category and rank.

The university has clarified that late arrivals will not be entertained, and candidates are advised to review the complete counselling schedule before reporting.

Required Documents for Counselling

Candidates must bring the following original documents along with photocopies:

• Four passport-size photographs
• CET Rank Card/Merit Order
• CET Admit Card
• Online Registration Form
• Admission Verification Form
• Preference Sheet
• Proof of Date of Birth
• Qualifying Examination Mark Sheets and Certificates
• Physical Fitness Certificate

Reserved category candidates must carry valid caste/category certificates issued by the competent authority in their own name. Candidates applying under the Defence Category must submit the duly completed Appendix-1 signed by the competent authority.

Fee Payment and Seat Acceptance

Candidates must bring a Bank Draft of Rs 96,000 towards seat acceptance and part academic fee in favour of Registrar, GGSIPU, payable at Delhi.

The following details must be written on the back of the bank draft:

• Candidate Name
• Date of Admission
• Phone Number
• Address
• Mobile Number
• Programme Name
• CET Rank
• CET Roll Number

Any remaining fee must be paid at the allotted institute after counselling.

Seat Allocation and Reservation Policy

Defence and PWD reservations are applied horizontally across categories. Vacant reserved seats will revert to the parent category during subsequent counselling rounds. Candidates from reserved categories may secure admission in the General/Unreserved category based on merit. No OBC reservation is available for postgraduate programmes. EWS reservation applies only to University School of Studies in postgraduate programmes. Candidates admitted in the first counselling round cannot change their category in later rounds.

Document Verification and Seat Allotment Process

The counselling process consists of:

• Document Verification
• Seat Allotment Based on Merit, Category and Preferences
• Candidates may request corrections in region, category, or sub-category details by producing valid supporting documents on the day of allotment.
• Reserved category candidates who fail to submit required certificates will automatically be considered under the General Category.
• The university will display the seat matrix at the counselling venue showing category-wise seat availability.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Ensure that you satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria of the programme. Verify the correctness of all details related to region, category, and reservation status. Any incorrect or false information may result in cancellation of admission and forfeiture of fees. Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit approved applications at least two days before counselling begins.
