A Times NIE Hyderabad's first 'principal's webinar' sponsored by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd in association with Roots Degree College, was held on August 8, 2020.
K Sujatha, Former Union Secretary of Health and Family Welfare was one of the panelists and expressed his views on schools reopening saying, "School going students are less likely to be vulnerable to the pandemic as compared to older people. Following all the precautions, schools can now commence classes."

RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary of Telangana Residential Educational Society and Navin Mittal, Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education in Telangana were the other two panelists of the online webinar.
Looking at the blended and virtual classes trend, Mittal said that the curriculum must be integrated with technology. COVID-19 has given an opportunity to transform with an unprecedented situation and make moves in the education system in a smarter way.

Praveen Kumar also suggested that teachers can take classes with no comorbidities. Initially, only class 5 to 8 students can be called to schools so as to maintain social distancing with minimum strength.
Simi Negi, Principal of Pallavi Model School Alwal agreed with the panel point of view and said, "School students are definitely missing social interaction, panelists rightly said that technology can personalize learning and for that student should be provided with right gadgets to attend online classes."
