New Delhi: The culmination that India is not the only country for which the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) produces leaders keeps Bharat Bhasker, its new Director, on his toes. "The world is transforming quickly. The centre of the global economy will be here.

It's time for us to seize this chance as everyone is de-risking from China," he argues. Anirudh Rapole, a student in the postgraduate diploma in management for executives programme, who has taken a break from a well-paying profession, claims that IIMA has stayed constant in its mission to develop industry-ready students.

“Students participate in real-world decision-making scenarios as a result of the IIMA's emphasis on academic rigour and practical learning, which creates a transformative experience. Graduates get priceless skills from this experience”, he continues. Speaking about real-world situations, IIMA provided Dwibesh Nath, another student, with just such a chance.

"After a month of studying at IIMA, we had the chance to participate in a round table conference to discuss policy recommendations for India's G20 leadership, meet influential individuals like the new US Ambassador to India, and work on the National Education Policy's implementation planning programme," the student claims. Bhasker, on the other hand, is concerned with the future and is open to technological advancement.

"Started a centre for data science and AI that examines the effects of such technologies on businesses," the statement reads. The online presence of IIMA is now in the spotlight. Despite the fact that there is no alternative for in-person instruction, we wish to reach any children who may have missed the bus.
