IIT Bombay has released the IIT JAM 2026 fourth admission list and Round 4 opening and closing ranks at jam2026.iitb.ac.in. Allotted candidates must pay the seat booking fee by June 30, 2026.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has released the Round 4 opening and closing ranks for Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 admissions. Candidates can now check the programme-wise and category-wise cutoffs on the official portal at jam2026.iitb.ac.in.
The fourth admission list was published on June 27, 2026. Candidates allotted seats in this round must pay the seat booking fee by June 30, 2026 to confirm their admission.
The Round 4 cutoff is available with filters for institute, programme, category, and admission round. Through IIT JAM 2026, admissions are being offered to 89 postgraduate programmes across 22 IITs.
Round 4 is the final regular admission list for this year's counselling process. An additional admission round will be conducted only if seats remain vacant after this round.

Follow these steps to view the Round 4 opening and closing ranks:
- Visit the official JAM 2026 website at jam2026.iitb.ac.in.
- Click on the "Opening Closing Ranks" link on the homepage.
- Select the desired IIT/institute from the dropdown menu.
- Choose Round 4 from the round selection option.
- Click "Show Data" to view the opening and closing ranks.

What to Do After IIT JAM 2026 Seat Allotment?
After every admission round, candidates must log in to the JOAPS portal and choose one of the following options:
- Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and opt out of further upgradation.
- Float: Accept the current seat while remaining eligible for a higher preferred choice.
- Reject: Decline the allotted seat and exit the admission process.
Candidates selecting Freeze or Float must pay the seat booking fee by June 30, 2026 to retain their allotted seat.

IIT JAM 2026 Withdrawal Option
The withdrawal window is open from June 26 to June 30, 2026. Candidates who do not wish to continue with their allotted seat can withdraw their admission through the JOAPS portal.
IIT Bombay has confirmed that no extension will be provided for the withdrawal deadline.

Round 4 is the last scheduled regular admission list for JAM 2026. The additional round on July 3 will run only if seats remain vacant after this list.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Log in to JOAPS using your enrollment ID and password.
- Check the Round 4 allotment status on the dashboard.
- Choose Freeze, Float, or Reject before the deadline.
- Pay the seat booking fee by June 30, 2026.
- Save the payment receipt for future reference.
The additional round admission list is expected on July 3, 2026. Offer letter download begins on July 9, 2026.
