Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Digital Skills Academy has introduced a new online program in the ‘Business Accounting Process’.
The aim of this new online program introduced by Digital Skills Academy, IIT-M is to upskill and reskill the professionals looking for a career opportunity in the finance and accounting sector. It will be available throughout the year and candidates who wish to enroll in this new program can do it at any time of the year.

The program is online-based, interactive, and job-oriented. It is developed with an innovative concept of a virtual office and designed with an AI-based Interactive Learning Management System (iLMS). Business Accounting Process program is one-of-a-kind, developed by IIT Madras Digital Skills Academy in association with the Bangalore based ArthaVidhya.
Professor K Mangala Sundar, Head at the Digital Skills Academy IIT-Madras pointed out the distinctive features of the program.
She said that the new program has been designed for the students to provide a real-life simulation of the actual corporate work environment and financial transactions with the help of AI-based iLMS.

The program will make the students' job ready with its 3 months of experimental learning method that is equivalent to 3 months of actual working experience. The NASSCOM (IT – ITES Sector Skill Council) has certified the newly designed programs.
M Thenmozhi, Department of Management Studies, and a former director in the National Institute of Securities Markets under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai has also reviewed the general aspects of the new program.
Mr. Nimish C Tolia, Trustee and Joint secretary of SDNB Vaishnav College, Chennai, stated that there's a huge spurt of the college students getting placed in top MNCs including Accenture, Mckinsey, etc.

All the certification courses under Digital Skills Academy IIT-Madras are approved by the Centre for Continuing Education. Students who take up the new program will be certified by CCE (Centre for Continuing Education), IIT Madras.
