JEECUP has opened the Round 3 choice filling window for the 2026 polytechnic counselling on July 16 at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Only UP domicile candidates can participate. Seat allotment dates will be announced on the portal soon.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has opened the Round 3 choice filling for the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic (UPJEE(P)) 2026 counselling on the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The window went live on July 16, 2026. Only Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates are eligible for this round. Qualified aspirants can now log in and lock preferred colleges.
The council conducts five counselling rounds every year. Rounds 1 to 3 stay limited to UP domicile students. Rounds 4 and 5 open to candidates from other states as well.
JEECUP 2026 Round 3 Fees
Candidates must pay the counselling fee and seat acceptance fee online. The council accepts payment through standard digital modes.

Who Can Participate in Round 3?
The council has laid out specific rules for the third round. Only these students can register for choice filling:
- Candidates who missed both Round 1 and Round 2
- Candidates who did not secure any seat in earlier rounds
- Round 2 allottees who chose Float and want a better seat
Candidates who froze their Round 2 seat cannot fill fresh choices now.

How to Fill JEECUP 2026 Round 3 Choices?
The process is fully online and completes in a few steps. Candidates should follow these steps to lock their Round 3 preferences:
- Visit the official JEECUP counselling website
- Log in using the application number and password
- Enter the security pin as displayed on the screen
- Select the Round 3 Choice Filling tab from the dashboard
- Add colleges and branches in order of preference
- Rearrange the list and lock the choices before the deadline

The Round 2 freeze or float deadline ended on July 15, 2026. Round 2 document verification also closed on the same day.

- Prepare a list of preferred colleges and branches beforehand
