JEECUP has postponed the UPJEE Polytechnic 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result originally scheduled for July 20. Candidates should track jeecup.admissions.nic.in for the new date and keep fees plus reporting documents ready.

JEECUP has postponed the UPJEE(P) 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result. The full body name is the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. The result was scheduled for July 20, 2026 on jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
The portal currently carries a notice about the delayed result. It states that the Round 3 seat allotment will be available soon. JEECUP has not yet announced a fresh release date.
Candidates who filled choices between July 16 and July 19 must now wait. The delay affects the wider Round 3 admission calendar. Fee payment, seat freezing, and reporting were all tied to July 20.
JEECUP 2026 Round 3 Original Schedule
| Event | Original Date |
|---|---|
| Choice filling window | July 16 to July 19, 2026 |
| Seat allotment result | July 20, 2026 (postponed) |
| Fee payment and freeze or float option | July 21 to July 23, 2026 |
| Document verification | July 21 to July 24, 2026 (till 6:00 PM) |
| Seat withdrawal deadline | July 25, 2026 (till 6:00 PM) |
| Academic session start | August 1, 2026 |
Who Is Affected by the Delay?
The delay hits every candidate who filled choices in Round 3. This includes fresh entrants and those who selected float after Round 2. Students who froze their Round 2 seat are not part of this round.
Seats left vacant after Round 2 are on offer in this phase. Government, aided, and private polytechnics across Uttar Pradesh take part in this counselling.
How to Check the JEECUP 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Result?
Once JEECUP publishes the result, candidates should follow the steps below on the official portal.
- Visit the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
- Click the Round 3 seat allotment result link on the home page.
- Enter your application number, password, and security PIN.
- View the allotted institute, branch, and category on screen.
- Download and save the allotment letter for further steps.
What Should Candidates Do After Allotment?
Allotted candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee within the revised window. They must also choose between freeze and float on the portal. Freeze locks the current seat, while float keeps them in the next round.
After payment, document verification follows either online or at the allotted institute. Original certificates and one set of photocopies are required. Missing this step will cancel the allotment.
The academic session begins on August 1, 2026. A delayed Round 3 result compresses the reporting and joining window for newly allotted candidates.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Refresh jeecup.admissions.nic.in daily for the revised result date.
- Keep your application number, password, and security PIN ready.
- Arrange the seat acceptance fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Collect originals such as the UPJEE scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, category certificate, and domicile proof.
JEECUP will soon issue a fresh notice with the revised Round 3 allotment date and reporting window.
