JEECUP has released the additional counselling schedule for Rounds 6 and 7 of the 2026 admission cycle. Round 6 choice filling begins on August 21, 2026 on the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the notification for Rounds 6 and 7 of JEECUP 2026 counselling. The complete schedule is available on the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
Round 6 choice filling will begin on August 21, 2026. The two additional rounds will cover vacant seats remaining after the first five rounds. Candidates from Uttar Pradesh and other states can participate.
The Round 5 seat allotment result was declared on August 11, 2026. The reporting deadline for Round 5 was extended till August 17, 2026. The council has now moved to fill the remaining polytechnic seats.

Who Is Eligible for Rounds 6 and 7?
All candidates who registered for JEECUP 2026 can join the additional rounds. Rounds 6 and 7 are open to UP and non-UP candidates. Students who have not received a seat can participate. Candidates seeking a better seat allotment can also take part.

- Visit the official JEECUP portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
- Log in using your application number and password.
- Select preferred institutes, branches, and sub-quotas.
- Rank the choices in order of preference.
- Lock your final choices before the deadline.
- Download and save the confirmation page.

JEECUP 2026 Counselling Fee

The registration fee of Rs 250 is paid once during the initial registration process. The seat acceptance fee of Rs 3000 is payable after a seat is allotted. Both payments must be completed online through the official JEECUP portal.
JEECUP has expanded its counselling to seven rounds this year. Earlier cycles usually ended after five rounds of allotment.
