The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued the Round 1 seat allotment result. The result covers the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) 2026 cycle. Allotted candidates can download the letter from poly.jceceb.org.in using their login credentials.
The board has fixed a short reporting window this year. Document verification and admission will run from August 11 to August 14, 2026. Candidates must report to the allotted polytechnic institute within this window. Missing the deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Download the PECE 2026 Round 1 Allotment Letter?
Allotted candidates can access the letter through the candidate login portal. The steps below explain the download process in order.
- Visit the official portal at poly.jceceb.org.in.
- Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and password to sign in.
- Open the Round 1 seat allotment letter tab.
- Download the letter and take a printout for reporting.
Documents Required at the Reporting Institute
Candidates must carry originals and one set of self-attested photocopies. The institute will verify each document before confirming admission.
- Round 1 provisional seat allotment letter printout
- PECE 2026 admit card and rank card
- Class 10 marksheet and certificate as date of birth proof
- Class 10 pass certificate and character certificate from the last institute
- Caste certificate for reserved category candidates
- Domicile or residence certificate of Jharkhand
- Recent passport size photographs
- Valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar card
What Happens After Document Verification?
The reporting institute checks each document against the allotment letter. Candidates then pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm the seat. The institute records the admission on the JCECEB portal against the candidate ID. A written admission slip is issued as proof of confirmation.
