    Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 will be conducted in July month to fill around 11,230 seats in engineering and non-engineering diploma courses in different colleges of Jharkhand. The paper will consist of 150 objective type questions that will have to be attempted in 150 minutes.

    Jharkhand Polytechnic (PECE) 2020 Application form has been released on June 08, 2020.

    In order to appear for the examination, candidates should have passed class 10 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% marks to be eligible for the exam. An appearing student in class 10th examinations can also apply but will have to pass the qualifying exam before begining of counselling round.

    Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 Eligibility

    Prior to the commencement of the online application process, it is necessary for the candidates to check the Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 eligibility criteria. They need to fulfil the pre-requisites to attempt the examination. Given below are various factors on which the eligibility of a candidate depends upon:

    On the basis of Academic Qualification

    • Candidate must have passed the secondary/10th or equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% marks.
    • Candidates appearing for secondary/10th or equivalent examination are also eligible, subject to passing the examination before commencement of Counselling process.

    On the basis of Residential Criteria

    Candidates falling under either of the following categories are eligible to appear for the entrance test

    • The candidate should be the permanent resident of Jharkhand OR
    • The candidate must be a ward of an employee of Central Government working in Jharkhand OR
    • The candidate should be a ward of an employee of State Government or organizations operated/recognized by the State Government.

    On the basis of Age Limit

    • There is no minimum or maximum age limit for examination.
    • However, candidates seeking admission into Mining Engineering must turn at least 17 years old on or before July 1, 20Jhar18.

    Application forms of PECE 2020 will be available on the official website of the exam. It should be filled by the candidates only through online mode.

    Following are the steps for successful completion of online application submission:

    1. Online Registration

    • Go to the official website of JCECEB - http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/Default.aspx
    • Click on ‘JCECEB PECE 2020’ tab
    • Click on ‘Step 1 – New registration’
    • Fill details – Candidate Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, Mobile No. and Email ID
    • Click on the ‘Submit’ button
    • Registration ID will be generated for the candidate

    • Click on ‘Login’
    • Enter Registration ID and Date of Birth
    • Click on the ‘Submit’ button

    Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 Admit Card

    Admit card can be downloaded from the official website of JCECEB within 4 days before the date of examination. No hard copy of admit card will be sent to the candidate by courier or post.

    Candidates can download Admit Card through the following steps:

    • Go to the official website of JCECEB - http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/Default.aspx
    • Click on ‘Admit Card’ tab on the top row of the webpage
    • Select ‘JCECEB PECE 2020’ from the drop-down list under ‘Please Select Examination’
    • Enter your Registration ID
    • Click on ‘Submit’ button
    • Admit card will appear on screen
    • Take a print out of Admit card and retain until the end of the process

    JCECEB is likely to commence Counselling process for Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 within a week of declaration of result. It will be conducted on the offline basis. Candidates should report to the address as per authority of Jharkhand Polytechnic 2020 counselling.

    • Information regarding Counselling will be made available to candidates through primary newspapers of Jharkhand and also official JCECEB website
    • Usually, three rounds of Counselling are conducted, but the final decision on the number of Counselling rounds depends on the number of seats that remain vacant after each Counselling round
    • The candidate receiving Counselling notification will have to submit a Challan through Post Office

    Ans. Yes, for every correct answer candidates will be awarded 1 mark but for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

    Ans. Yes, candidates will have to mention Aadhar number in the application form and also, they will have to present it during the counselling.

    Q20. I want to apply for more than one course. Do I need to fill separate form?

    Ans. Yes, candidates can fill only one course in a single form. To appear for other courses, they must fill different form.

    Q21. I was not able to appear for the test. Is the application fee refundable?

    Ans. No, application fee is not refundable in any situation.
