Who Can Use the Reopened Portal?

The reopened window applies only to candidates named in the JNU PG List-1 released on June 25, 2026. It targets those who missed the original June 25 to June 27 payment window. Candidates in List-2, released in early July, are not covered by this notice.

  • List-1 candidates who did not pay the seat-blocking fee earlier.
  • List-1 candidates who paid but did not confirm the programme.
  • Candidates whose payment failed and was not reconciled.

How to Pay the Fee and Block the Seat on the JNU Portal?

The pre-enrolment flow on the JNU admission portal has three linked steps. Each step must be completed in one sitting on the reopened window.

  1. Visit jnuee.jnu.ac.in and click the reopening notice link on the homepage.
  2. Log in using the CUET PG application number and password.
  3. Verify the allotted programme, school, and category shown on the dashboard.
  4. Pay the seat-blocking fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
  5. Download the confirmation slip after the transaction is successful.

The confirmation slip must be preserved for the physical verification stage on the JNU campus. Candidates are advised to take at least two printouts.

Documents Required for Physical Verification

After paying the fee and blocking the seat, candidates must report to the JNU campus in New Delhi. The verification team checks originals against uploaded copies. Missing documents can lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates.
  • Qualifying degree mark sheets and provisional or final certificate.
  • CUET PG 2026 scorecard and admit card.
  • Category, EWS, or PwBD certificate, wherever applicable.
  • Fee payment confirmation slip from the reopened portal.
Why This Reopening Matters

List-1 candidates who missed the June window would normally lose their allotment. JNU rarely reopens the same list twice in one cycle. This second chance is a narrow one and is expected to close before the physical verification window ends.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Open the JNU admission portal and read the reopening notice in full.
  2. Log in and confirm the programme and category shown on screen.
  3. Keep a working debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI ready.
  4. Pay the seat-blocking fee and download the confirmation slip.
  5. Arrange all original documents for physical verification at JNU.
  6. Report to the JNU campus within the July 6 to July 14 window.
Keep an Eye On

Watch jnuee.jnu.ac.in for the fresh List-1 payment deadline and any List-3 or spot round notice after physical verification closes on July 14.
