JNU UG Admission 2026 Registration Open Last Date July 22

The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the UG Admissions 2026-27 registration process. Eligible candidates can apply through the official portal, jnuee.jnu.ac.in, for B.A. (Hons.), B.Sc. Ayurveda Biology, and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes. Admissions will be based on CUET UG 2026 scores conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Which Programmes Are Available?

JNU is accepting applications under NEP 2020 for three programme categories:

  • B.A. (Hons.) – Four-year foreign language honours degree.
  • B.Sc. Ayurveda Biology – Four-year integrated science programme.
  • Certificate of Proficiency (COP) – Certificate courses in selected foreign and regional languages.

Which Languages Are Offered?

The B.A. (Hons.) programme offers admission in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Pashto, Russian, and Spanish.

The COP programme includes Pashto, Hebrew, Mongolian, Bahasa Indonesia, and Uzbek.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates must have appeared for CUET UG 2026 to be eligible. They should have attempted the English paper (Section IA, Code 101) and the General Aptitude Test (Code 501).

No prior knowledge of the selected foreign language is required, as all courses begin from the foundation level.

What Is the Application Fee?

The application fee for General category candidates is Rs. 313. Candidates from reserved categories should check the JNU e-Prospectus 2026-27 for the applicable fee. Payment can be made only through online modes.

Candidates can complete the registration by following these steps:

  1. Visit jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
