JNU has begun the online applications process for UG admissions. Candidates seeking admission to UG courses and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs can apply through their CUET 2023 scores. The deadline to apply is August 2, 2023.
New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has commenced the registration process for its various UG courses. Applicants can now apply for various JNU UG courses and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs based on a valid CUET score till August 2, 2023, on the official website @jnu.ac.in.
JNU has announced that the admission process for BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc integrated program in Ayurveda Biology, and CoP programs will be based on the CUET UG scores whereas, admission to JNU's BTech courses will be done based on the JEE Main results and through the JoSAA counseling.
Recently, the official notification for JNU Admission to UG courses was released on July 16, 2023. The prospectus contains detailed information regarding the intake, eligibility criteria, and other essential details for prospective applicants.
Regarding the seat matrix for JNU UG Admission 2023, the university has specified that 80% of the seats in the three-year BA (Hons) program are reserved for students who either passed the senior school certificate or equivalent examination in 2022 or are scheduled to appear in 2023. The remaining 20% of seats are available for all other candidates.

How to apply for JNU UG Admission 2023
Step 1: Visit the JNU official website @jnu.ac.in.
Step 2: Tap on the course-wise registration link available on the right side of the homepage.
Step 3: Click on “New Registration” and fill out the application form.
Step 4: Upload all the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
Step 5: Save and pay the application fee. Download the application form for future references.
